Who you are

You will be responsible project manager and the key point of contact for several development projects. This means that you internally will work closely together with the responsible Asset Manager of the projects, Global Development team and external service providers. You also will work closely together with the Commercial Managers who are responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the existing wind and/or solar asset to which the development project relates. Towards the end of the development phase you will work closely with the Construction Managers for the hand-over.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have;

  • Electrical/Energy /Environmental engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Some experience in developing / constructing / managing renewable energy assets and/or projects
  • Project Management experience and skills
  • Experience in stakeholder management
  • Polish and English proficiency – fluent in both verbal and written
  • Willing to travel occasionally, mostly between the projects, sometimes abroad

Your responsibilities

'- You will collaborate on planning, so activities operations and development activities will run smoothly
  • Work on the annual Asset Management Plan,
  • Deliver development information for the Board meetings and support with preparations,
  • You will be responsible for the development budget and have to work together with the operational team and accounting for the financial management of the project.
  • Have regular meetings with the Asset Manager, Global Development team, external service providers to update on the developments,
  • Have a collaborative role in the Global Development team in supporting in standardizations, improvements, update on country/market specific requirement, etc.
  • Supervise the hand-over from Development to Construction and keep supporting construction as much as necessary,
  • When necessary, you will also support the operational team with Asset Management activities.

Furthermore, you will manage and work together with external service providers who will be responsible of developing the project. This means that you, for example:

  • Will supervise and oversee contract negotiations,
  • Complete the contracts,
  • Implement and maintain the project execution plan,
  • Challenge and discuss e.g., design choices, land lease set-ups, etc. with the service provider(s),
  • Have regular project meetings and keep control over the project planning and budget with the service provider(s)
  • Make sure all documentation is properly stored in our document and contract management system,
  • The service provider(s) will in most cases be the first point of contact with local authorities and land owners, however as the owners representative you will need to step in and coordinate conversations when necessary.
- Deliver, with others, the sustained long-term profitability and business growth of - Ingka Group by developing end of life optimizations and in-house developments of - - Ingka Group renewable energy assets.
- Develop working relationships with third party service providers, authorities and - Commercial Managers to ensure high-quality outsourcing of renewable energy development projects especially related to stakeholder management.
  • Manage and be the main point of contact for the end of life and inhouse development aspects of wind and solar farm management, including project management of various technical, contractual, legal, insurance and health & safety issues.
  • Secure the development and implementation of wind and solar farm management plans, annual budgets, internal audits, internal reporting and Board meeting material.
  • When needed provide support to the asset management of the wind and solar farms
  • Support the Portfolio Development Manager in developing (market) standards for in-house developments to be an integral part of our overall asset management.
- Support and be the key point of contact in hand-over from Development to - Construction and preparations for the hand-over to operations.
  • Apply expertise and input to support growth of the Ingka Group renewable energy investment portfolio, ranging from technical due diligence of investment opportunities and contract negotiations to preparation and takeover of developed assets into operations.
